Child safety standards
Last updated Oct 22, 2026
Jodi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards, as required by Google Play for social and dating apps.
Adults only
Jodi is only for people aged 18 and over. Everyone must give their date of birth when signing up and cannot change it later without review. We remove any account that appears to belong to someone under 18, whether we find it ourselves or through a report.
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor, including drawings, AI-generated or "role-play" content.
- Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor for sexual purposes, or asking anyone for images of minors.
- Sextortion, trafficking or any attempt to arrange contact with a minor.
- Sharing links to or offering such material anywhere on Jodi.
How we prevent and detect it
- Age checks at sign-up, and review of accounts that seem to be underage.
- Automated checks on photos for nudity before they are shown, and pattern checks on messages.
- Photo, selfie and ID verification that make fake and stolen identities harder.
- Trained moderators who review reports, with child-safety reports handled first.
How to report
- In the app: open the profile or chat, tap ⋯ → Block or report, and choose "Looks under 18". Reports are confidential.
- By email: support@postlister.com, with "Child safety" in the subject.
- In India you can also report to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call 1930. Elsewhere, contact your local police or the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org).
What we do
When we find or are told about CSAE or CSAM we act within 24 hours: we remove the content and the account, keep the evidence securely as the law requires, and report it to the appropriate authorities, including Indian law enforcement and, where relevant, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We cooperate fully with law enforcement.
Contact for child safety
Our designated child-safety contact is our grievance officer, Vineet, at support@postlister.com. We respond to child-safety concerns as a priority.
