Jodi is a safe dating and matrimony app for people who want something real. One app covers every kind of relationship (dating, serious relationships, marriage, friendship, double dates and travel buddies) with separate modes, so you only meet people looking for the same thing you are.

Why we built Jodi

Most dating apps reward endless swiping. Matrimony sites can feel like filling in forms for your parents. We wanted something in between: modern and easy, but built for people who are serious about meeting someone, and safe enough to recommend to your sister.

What makes Jodi different

• Verified people. Photo verification with a live selfie (checked on your phone), optional ID verification, and badges you can trust.
• Privacy you control, detail by detail. Every photo and field has its own setting: everyone, your matches, people you approve, people in one mode, or only you. Family details, income and horoscope can stay private until you choose to share them.
• Marriage mode that respects tradition. Religion, community, mother tongue, family details and horoscope, with family-friendly profiles and filters, without the old-fashioned feel.
• Safety built in. Block and report from anywhere, moderators who read every report, scam warnings in chat, Date check-in for meeting in person, and chats that are deleted after 30 days.
• Kind by design. No ghosting limbo: chats close with an honest, gentle message. Fewer, better matches instead of endless swiping.
• No fake activity. Every like, match and message comes from a real person. Demo profiles are always marked "Test".
• Free voice and video calls once you have both said hello, with no phone numbers shared.
